March 16th, 2024 will be the last Annual Dinner that I will be hosting as a Scoutmaster. Not sure what the future Annual dinners will look like with a new Scoutmaster and a new Chartered Organization, it may be totally different, might not even be a dinner. As my last annual dinner at St. Rita, I would like to see how many past alumni we can get. Think Class Reunion style event. Even though we wont be celebrating an Eagle Scout this year, we are going to be celebrating 73 years that St. Rita has been our Chartered Partner. It will also be a thanks to all those who have served as adult Scouters of the Troop in the past. Besides myself, we have Mrs Andersen and Mr. Sisak who will also be stepping down as members of the Troop in June. Between the three of us, we have logged almost 100 years of Scouting. Rich and Nancy Hardesty will be stepping down in November. This is a celebration of an Era but more importantly, the kick off of a new Era. Come and thank all the scouts and adults who you worked with over the years. Come and share your memories with each other.
