After posting 161 days of blogs about scouting, I was approached by a few people from Scout HQ about sharing my story with some of the local news outlets. I agreed under the condition it was to promote scouting, I didn't really want it to be all about me. What I did was cool, what Scouting is doing every day is beyond awesome, I want to see the program succeed and grow. There are some GREAT volunteers in scouting. Scouting has been my passion since I joined so many years ago. I wrote this blog to share my great experiences in the Program. To reflect on the great times I had, we all have had, not the sadness of the conclusion of my Troop Career. I did the same when Camp Lyle closed by chairing the committee that wrote the Lyle Book. It was therapy to me. When my dad was on his sick bed he said to me, "Don't cry because my life is over, celebrate because I was here." I have taken that to so many levels of my life, including Scouting. I have been working with some public relations people set up by the council to spread the word of Scouting. Scouting has been in the news in a far inappropriate amount of time on some of the negative, I want to share this story to inspire others to be PART of the program and make it grow. I want to PROMOTE Scouting any way we can. I want to share the greatness of the program with for all to see, and those who find it interesting to join and make the program even better. I agreed to do these spots, right now there will be three, CBS 58, Spectrum 1 and Racine Eye. I will post each link here for you to share and spread the word of good scouting to all, we need to spread the good of scouting to those who are not getting the message. I would also suggest you check out my other blog page Positive Works of Scouting, feel free to post your good news there and share the link. We all need to make the greatness of scouting viral, to tip the scales of publicity about scouting back to the percentage of good vs bad that is really what is happening in the program. Be part of spreading the word!
Thanks to all who made these happen.

Tremendous Falendysz. Very nice interview focusing on what individuals get out of Scouting.
