By the numbers

I did some math, and I believe this to be pretty factual

I have participated in ....

·         1600 Troop meetings

·         400 Committee meetings and PLC meetings

·         240 Campouts

·         775 nights of camping

·         548 Outings

·         Mentored 107 Scouts to Eagle Scouts, over 12,000 hours of service was given to the community by these projects

·         Hiked 500 miles at Philmont over 8 treks

·         Attended 38 Years of Summer camp

·         Handled almost a million dollars in wreaths

·         Hours and hours of Personal Development

·         Been certified in CPR and First Aid for 40 years

·         46 Eagle Court of Honors, hosting over 5700 guests

·         300 Miles biked on High Adventure trips

·         10-15 Philmont trips planned while I served as Scoutmaster

·         Several Mid-year High Adventure Trip

·         Two OA chiefs came out of Troop 161 in my tenure

·         Several other OA positions at Council and Regional positions

·         Two JLTC (NYLT) Senior Patrol Leaders came from Troop 161
