My Induction into the Eagle Scout Hall of Fame
Dear Tim Falendysz,
Congratulations on being inducted into the inaugural class of the Lighthouse District Eagle Hall of Fame. You were selected among a number of other outstanding Eagle Scouts within the Racine Community. Your dedication to Scouting and the community sets you apart as a leader. We will be recognizing you and your accomplishments at the 2009 Boy Scouts of America, Racine Mayor's Leadership Breakfast on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Racine Country Club. Former Astronaut and Retired USAF Colonel Mark C. Lee will be our guest speaker.
Scouting is unique among youth organizations because it serves as a means for a boy to grow in character, values, self-respect, and by teaching life-long skills. Over the years, Scouting has positively influenced thousands of young men in Southeast Wisconsin. Not every boy who joins Boy Scout earns the Eagle Scout rank; only about 5 percent of all Boy Scouts do so. You are one of more than 1.7 million Boy Scouts who have earned the rank since 1912.
