Today starts a three-part series on this topic.  Sometimes, scouts go on to do great things in all aspects of life.  This is the story of three of Troop 161’s Eagle Scouts who took off on a trip of a lifetime. They set their goal to hike the entire 2000+ miles of the  Appalachian Trail. Here is part one of their story as reported in the Journal Times.
