A 6:00 o'clock wake up as it will be for the next several days. We are out of camp at 7:45 after sterilizing our dishes and making a hot breakfast with the dish water. We go to get water and the well does not work at first. We are able to get water out of the tank and purify it. Causes a slowdown and we get out about 8:30. We start our tuff hike to Wilson Mesa with Mr. Kirkland leading. The views are great. A low level jet flies over the canyon. We stop for lunch over looking a pond with Baldy in the background. Jeff shares his couple cans of peaches with us and we move on to Pueblano. We checked in for program and they warn us about bears that have been spotted in the area. Tim Wells meets his speed speaking match. We go to Pueblano Ruins to set up camp. During today's hike Rob, Rob and Mr. F reminisce about 92's trek. The crew goes back to Pueblano to do pole climbing, Mr. F and Rob Law stay back in order to cook dinner so that the crew can get back to the evening program campfire too. More bears were spotted right in our camping area just before we get there but we don't see them. We went to campfire and got a tardy slip. While at the campfire we come across the crew that was in the Amtrack train crash a few days earlier.
