This is a picture inside the old Dining hall at camp Oh Da Ko Ta. In the mid 90's. Shortly after this, the dinning hall burned down to the ground. The reports said that a spark from the fireplace escaped the flue system and lit the wood structure on fire, it smoldered for a while after the campers left and was fully engaged in the middle of the night, when a neighbor could see the flames from across the lake.

Wow, does this old picture bring back the memories! The coolest artifacts hanging on the ODKA dining room walls were shields with oversized 1920-era merit badges carved out of wood lining the edge of the shield. I think one of them is at eye-level behind the ladder. On the inside of this shield were the twelve points of the Scout Law enscribed onto carved ribbon backers. There were a couple dozen 4x4 foot tables which patrols sat at on wooden benches which would seat two scouts (4 benches per table) and had meals during (pre-1975) summer camp or during district or council activities.
