Sister Support

Updated: Feb 3

Today I would like to thank my favorite (only) sister, Cyndi. She has stood by my side all along this trail as Scoutmaster. She knows many of the scouts who have gone thru Scouting program. She has helped me by listening to so many of the challenges I faced in my years as Scoutmaster, coaching me and encouraging me to carry on. She has been there helping me on projects, been part of the reLYLEables crew working all kinds of jobs, from cooking in the kitchen, working on patios, doing odd jobs but most of all putting up with her OLDER brother. Her husband Bill, was the first one to donate the use of a large box truck for wreath pick-up, a tradition that has lasted 25-30 years, its been a long time.  Cyndi took over Custom Express, the trucking company my brother in law owned, when my he passed away in a tragic vehicle crash while they were vacationing in Costa Rica.  She has taken over a business she knew very little about and has kept it running and has grown the business since his passing. She is a true inspiration for me and a LOT of other people and I am proud to call her my sister! It’s hard to believe you were only a teenager when I took this job over! While she won't call me her favorite brother, she did tell me I was in the top 4!  Thank you Cyndi for your years of support, and Happy Birthday today too!!
