The Bike Load

This was one of our High Adventure trips, we biked out to  Edgerton Wisconsin to my parent’s house.  Was a 100 mile bike trip and then we took the bikes and youth back home.  This is how we loaded them back up, We had 7 bikes on the roof, would not seem like much until you do the math, that was a lot of weight up there, but it worked.  In later years, we mounted this same rack on the Troop trailer and that was MUCH easier to load than this.  That Truck ended up with a large scratch in the roof because of this.  We did some crazy things to have trips like this.
