Troop 161 did a lot of camp LYLE projects while at camp. Here are just a few of them. Grumpys Pier, The Chapel and Vespers trail, Eco Con Pier, Trail Hawk Pavilion, Climbing Wall, The firebowl Seating, the Bike Trail, Disk Golf, Tree cutting and the formation of reLYLEables.
Attending Lyle the same week that T-161 did, it was amazing to watch all the effort that T-161 did to support Lyle. The work benefetted EVERYONE and T-161 was very low key in going about doing their work. Grumpy's Pier was a special project, I thought, because it focused on a great Scouter, Ron Brinkman, who gave so much of himself as a Citizenship merit badge counselor to Scouts throughout the Lighthouse District.
