Running late last week
Sorry about running late last Monday, we don’t do it too often but we had a fun filled meeting and a lot of things going on, sorry for losing tract of time.
Elections
This is election week, If you are running, I should have seen the Troop leadership form (or here) turned in by last week, but I got VERY FEW of them turned in. Time to step up to be a leader of the Troop, is that you? Be sure to signup, email or turn it in first thing when you arrive at the meeting. We need a slate of Scouts to run YOUR Troop. Here is a chance to continue or change the course of the Troop. Sign up if you are eligible.
This Monday
We have something baking up to be a great program, come and see what it is, bring your sweet tooth. Also don’t forget, this is the last meeting before the Court of Honor, if you have anything to turn in, bring it this week.
Philmont Meeting
Just a reminder to all our Philmont participants that we have a meeting on Tuesday at CBTL at 7 PM.
Annual Dinner and Eagle Court of Honor
All of you should have gotten an invite to the Annual Dinner and Eagle Court of Honor, be sure to RSVP for the event either by calling in or sending an email to t161annualdinner@mrfsweb.com and let us know you will be attending. This is a great evening to recognize the best of the best of our Troop, all scouts and their family should attend. It is a great evening not only to recognize our top scouts, our Eagle Scouts, but also some of our top leaders too. Please plan on attending and get your RSVP in.
Service
Mrs. Hannemann has a couple of things for all of us. First of all we have the Service Bead Qualification, which has the requirements to earn your annual service bead. You can check that out HERE. Also we have Scouting for Food coming up in March and to make sure everyone has it on their calendar, you can get that signup form in advance HERE.
CPR
There are a couple of spots left for CPR, this is a $50 training that will be FREE to Troop members and their families, if you are interested in signing up, please contact Mrs. Andersen (kla1012@gmail.com) right away. This training will be held on February 27. The life you may save, may be someone from your family, no one has ever regretted knowing CPR. Many of the merit Badges require knowledge of CPR, this is a chance to get that taken care of.
