This Week

This week, we will be tapping our way through some communications with Morse Code. You won’t want to miss it; it will be a lot of fun!

Upcoming events!

Don’t forget to sign up for the events that were sent out in the BSB a couple of weeks ago.  Christmas Campout and tubing in February. We need to have a number THIS week, to make sure we have the youth and adults needed to run these events.   Keep your fingers crossed that it chills down a bit for Tubing.  They will need at least cold temperatures at night to make snow, this week has not been ideal for snow sports but the park is still!  You can go to their web page and see the Hill cams.

Looking towards the future

The PLC has planned out the next few weeks, (watch BSB for updates to this plan), here they are.

-January 29 Troop meeting at St. Rita -Morse code

-Feb 5th Tour of Cacia Hall building (Scouts wanted to know what else is in the building, parents welcome)

-Feb 9-11th Christmas Campout at Camp Sinawa (Valders Wis)

-Feb 12th Tubing at THE ROCK (Franklin)

-Feb 19th First meeting at EAA ( 3333 Green Bay Rd) Will have a program and short tour of the new facility.

Annual Dinner -Troop Leader Appreciation

Mark your calendars for March 16th for the Troop annual dinner. Seeing we did not have any Eagle Scouts completed in 2023 we will be having a Troop Leader Appreciation and Thank You Dinner.   We also plan to have a “Thanks to St. Rita for Hosting Scouting” for the last 73 years. Be sure to RSVP right away after the Invite comes out, so we have a good count. Invites will be coming out soon.
