Scan code to sign up for Troop 161 Annual Dinner

This Monday

This Monday will be our last Troop meeting at Cascia Hall. As part of the final visit, the PLC thought it would be fun to take a tour of the entire building that they have been going through for years.  I will be using my experience of being a member of St. Rita for 60 years to tell the history of the building and a walking tour of the entire building. I did this for a small group of parents a few months ago and they thought it was pretty cool. This meeting is open to parents and scouts who want to know the “rest of the story” about the St. Rita building. It has a very long and deep history.

Christmas Campout

Next weekend (Feb 9-11) is the Christmas Campout at Camp Sinawa in Valders Wisconsin. It is a great facility and we will be having a lot of fun, still looking for more sign-ups.  Monday is the final night to sign up.

Annual Dinner

The Troop Annual Dinner will be March 16th, 2024.  This year it will be an appreciation event for all the Troop leaders and a THANK YOU to St. Rita for sponsoring us for 73 years. A change for this year is we will NOT be sending out paper invites but will be doing the invitation electronically.  You can get a copy of the invite by going to THIS LINK  or scanning the QR code above.

Name Tags

Some of you may have gotten a name tag in the mail, that is from the EAA, each member will be getting one eventually, don’t worry if you didn’t get yours, some are still in the works, if makes you feel better, I have not gotten mine yet.

Committee Meeting

Just a quick reminder, this month's committee meeting will be TUESDAY February 13th, to allow people to spend time with their loved ones on Valentine's Day

That is it for this week, next week’s meeting will be Tubing at THE ROCK Snow Park, and the following week, Feb 19th we will be moving to the EAA for our first Troop meeting there.

--- Thanks  Mr. F.
