Milestone Party
Next Sunday, October 12th is the Milestone party at Infusino’s, we will gather from noon to 1:15, sit down for dinner at 1:30 and then a have a short program to follow. Scouts are welcome to come in Scout uniform, Class B or other shirts, this NOT a uniform required event. This is a chance to review the history of the Troop, meet with people from all eras of the Troop and share stories about Scouting. It will be a great event, hope you are signed up to go!
Campout in a few weeks
For the campout in a few weeks Oct 17-19, we will be running the Haunted Fort at Ohdakota, we will be haunting it up for the Council Haunted Hayride. It will be a lot of fun. Mr. Sisak and I picked ups quite a few props from a unit that has done this in the past and let’s just say there are some pretty spooky things going on. Need an extra eye or two, maybe a hand? We have strobe lights, fog machines and much more. We are looking for anything you might want to add to the mix. We will be haunting on Friday and Saturday evening and will need help getting this all set up, if you can help, please let someone in Leadership Corps know. We could use some adults too. Looks like we will be going out a couple nights the week before to set up. Do you have a really cool customs? Add that to the list of things you should bring to this campout. The evening is a public event, so families are welcome to come out and give it a try, our part is a small part of a much bigger haunted hayride which will probably have 500 visitors over the weekend, so it is a pretty big deal. If dare like a scare, come on out, I would suggest on Saturday evening, after we get one night of practice under our belt for the best spooky adventure. If you have not signed up for the campout, you better, it will be awesome!
Upcoming Events
Don’t forget to sign up for the Discovery World, this week is the early sign up for this event.
