Some of the favorite things of fall...

The trees are turning colors, the sounds of football in the air, frost on the pumpkins and Halloween! But most of all, time to get your wreath orders! Cole Miller and Kyle Koenig won last week, way to go! If you have not brought your blue sheets in, we want them, we want to make sure those customers are contacted, some of those customers have been purchasing from us for over 20 years and are expecting the call. If you have not done so already, please bring the blue sheets on Monday and help us insure they are covered. I know many of them personally and they will let me know if they don’t get called, so we are watching you, just like some creepy Halloween ghost in the corner. Whohoooohhoo. If we don’t hear from you on the blue sheets, we will assume you didn’t sell to them and re-distribute those names this week. Way to go Wolverines for being tops sellers, I am sure that Ice cream will taste good, don’t forget there is one more chance to be the best patrol, keep selling. Everyone who has sold already, WAY TO GO!! Those that haven’t, time to get er done… It is not only camp credit for you, but it also helps pay for things like awards and some of the activities like the Christmas campout.

Campout

In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, we will be doing a Halloween Haunted Hayride at Ohdakota for the campout next weekend and we need your scariest costume. We are doing the fort and will be haunting it up and need your spooky self to be part of the set up. If you have a good haunting costume, bring it with, we also have a bunch, so if you don’t have one, no problem. I would suggest you bring some OLD (painting type) clothes with you, cause if we do make up and such, they may get stained, this would include shoes, don’t bring those brand new gym shoes! Do you have any Halloween decorations? Let us know what you have, we need some of those as well. We will be spooking both Friday night and Saturday night, the haunted hayride is an event that is open to the public, so parents, come on out with the family if you dare to be scared. Check out Haunted Haride at Camp Ohdakota on facebook. I think our best performance will be Saturday night, seeing this will be our first try at this gig. Come if you dare! We are also looking for help setting things ups, if you can help, we will probably be doing it Wednesday and Thursday nights, please let me or Jacob Oteman know if you can help.

Signups

Did you get signed up for Discovery World? Be sure to get your name on that list. This is the last regular meeting before the trip.

EXTRA EXTRA…

We have been offered an opportunity to have an exclusive tour of the Windpoint Lighthouse and tower climb on Sunday November 2nd, at 1:00 PM. This will be limited to 30 people, it is open to the Troop members and their family and its FREE! Seeing this will be limited to 30 People (climbers) and it is first come first serve we are going to do ONLINE REGISTRATION ONLY, so we have a good list to work from. This is a great opportunity to see Racine and Lake Michigan from a great vantage point. There are 140 steps that wind up to the tower to two hatches that get you on the top of the tower. The minimum age (set by Windpoint) is 6 years old. Click on the link above and sign up NOW, it is an awesome opportunity. Not up to the climb? You are welcome to join s, there will be a history lesson on the lighthouse as well, so there is something in it even if you don’t want to make the trip to the top.
