Nice Job

Thanks to all those who sold wreaths so far, we met our target for this year’s sales, but don’t stop there, we still have more to sell. Sign up for the store sales, especially those who didn’t get enough sales yet. Remember all the sales you make either door to door or at the Store sales will bring you credit for your Scout account. We have some exciting events coming up in the next, year you won’t want to miss, and the credit will help offset your expenses for these events, remember a Scout is Trifty! Remember, November 22 is wreath pick up, you will get a call when they are ready, so be available. If you know you are not going to be available on that day, let me know and we will put your wreaths aside and arrange a later pick up.

Have you ever thought about inventing your own game? Then Monday night is your night, come and find out what the Troop meeting is all about!

Lighthouse Tour

Hope everyone who went had a good time, and thanks for the service time you put in as well. Seemed like a small price to pay for a great event. Take a look at this picture I shot from the top of the lighthouse, pan around and look at the whole 360 degrees from the top Pano View, that is what you missed if you didn’t attend.

Upcoming Event

We will be attending a Wave Soccer Game on December 6th, check out the fact sheet HERE. We will be kicking off the game, as our troop will be the color guard for the flag ceremony, how cool is that! Be sure to sign up and attend!

BSB Challenge

Last week I offered and BSB Challenge to bring your BSB to the meeting for a prize. Guess what, it was not 100% participation, so I would tell people to get out and read the BSB but I would be telling the people who already read it, so here is the next challenge. Find someone in the Troop who isn’t reading it and encourage them to read it on a weekly basis. Parents, if your son is that person, please encourage them to read it and be informed about what is happening in the Troop, remember, they need to keep track of what is going on too. Print it and put it on the fridge if you have to, we all know that they will be in there often! Maybe the bathroom mirror?

Last week’s meeting

Last week’s meeting touched on internet safety, it was a well-received meeting. We will be expanding on that in the future and may include some info for parents too, keep your ears and eyes open for that. Surfing safe is something the BSA is expending on as we become more and more electronically connected.
