How was your Patrol meeting?

I hope all of you all had fun at your Patrol meeting last week, looking forward to seeing your movie at the Court of Honor in a few weeks.

Put the Pedal down

Campout is coming up next weekend, so in preparation for the campout, we are going to cover some bike basics this Monday at the Troop meeting. You are welcome to bring your bike and helmet to the meeting Monday and learn all the details you need for a successful bike riding experience, some may even want to work on Cycling Merit Badge. For those not biking next weekend, we will have a great weekend planned. For our newest scouts, here is a general gear list for the weekend too, take a look and see if you have any questions, so you can ask your Patrol leader at the meeting on Monday. New scouts, ask your patrol leader if you want to help with the food shopping, and get that signed off in your book.

Campout next weekend

For all those going on the campout next weekend, menus and duty rosters are set, you and your patrol did those last Troop meeting. For those going biking, please make sure that your bike is in good working condition, each person needs to have a helmet and at least one water bottle. Bring your Bike (and helmet) to Monday’s meeting to have it checked. Due to the distance of the bike ride, small wheeled (BMX) bikes will not work for this event, so make sure you have a good bike for the trip. Anyone have an extra bike, please let me know, if you need one, let me know as well. If you have a light for your bike, bring it along, there are a couple of tunnels on the bike trail, and will need a light when walking your bike through the tunnels, one of them is over a half mile long and VERRRRY dark.

High Adventure

This BSB seems to be bikes, bikes bikes… but that seems to be the theme of this week. For those old enough, don’t forget to sign up for the High Adventure Trip this week too. We have a great high adventure program planned that will include biking and water skiing, plus some other attractions in Wisconsin, including the Dells. The fact sheet is here… Still looking for some adult help too, if you are interested, be sure if you are interested, sign up.

Med Forms

All the Med forms are due, have you turned yours in? Be sure to turn them in by this Monday and get a discount on your camp fee!

Camp payments and your statements

You should get your statement, if you have a positive number on your statement, you owe the Troop money, please get a check from your parents and bring a check and get that settled up. All payment plans for camp should be paid up. If you can’t get that paid up, WE NEED TO KNOW THAT, don’t just let the balance ride, we are willing to work on a plan. Please let either Mrs. Hardesty, myself or Mr. Koenig know. If you need financial assistance, we can help if needed too. A scout is Thirty, but so is the Troop, we need to know what is going on. Thanks for understanding!!!

That should do it?

Thanks

Mr. F.
