Drum roll please!
YES! The super summer program has been finalized and ready for you to look at here in the Court of Honor handout! The Password is T161. Take a look and see what is in store for you for this summer. The best way to make sure not to miss a single event, is sign up THIS MONDAY, all the supplies will be available to fill out all the forms and get it done! You don’t want to miss out on any of the fun planned for this summer.
Court of Honor
Don’t forget that this Monday is Court of Honor, which means we expect everyone to be there and bring at least one of your parents, but both and the family are fine! We are looking forward to seeing the movies that all the Patrols did at a meeting a few weeks ago, Patrol Leaders, make sure you get them done, if you have questions or need help, be sure to contact your Leadership Corps member OR Brandon Dobrowski has offered his help as well, but that does not mean at 3 PM on Monday.
Openings still available
Still have spots left for this summer’s High Adventure, be sure to get signed up this Monday. We will have a meeting on June 8th for all those going, that will be right after we get back from the bike ride. We will make some final plans on what activities you would like to do while on the trip. We have a lot of great options, just need to narrow them down. Remember the requirements to attend are to completed 7th grade or be at least 13 yrs. old. Don’t want to do the bike ride, talk to me, we might be able to work on a plan for you join the group after the bike ride portion. Check out the pictures from previous trips on the Troop Photos web album, we had a lot of fun. Don’t laugh at the pictures of your SPL! There are more, look at the link below, to go directly to the entire photo album.
What badges will you work on at Lyle
Think about what you will be working on at Lyle. For the first years, we have some things for you to do to help you with outdoor requirements for first class, for the veteran scouts, you should be thinking about merit badge work, there are some new ones being offered this year, you can check out a complete list HERE.
Med Forms
Remember everyone has to have an updated Med Form done by this Monday. If you have not done so, we WILL track you down, so if you have a doctor appointment later than June 1, be sure to tell Mrs. Spring and save a call to find out where it is, better yet, let’s get this done and no one has to call anyone!
Popcorn Money
If you still have popcorn money, that should be turned it in, be sure to bring it on Monday.
Scout Accounts
They should be settled up, if your statement has a positive number in the balance section, you owe money, be sure to get that number back to zero.
Merit Badge training for adults
Any adults who would like to be Merit Badge counselors, there will be a training held on June 16th at Wheaton in Franklin, if you are interested, see Kathy Andersen and she will give you the details. Being a Merit Badge Counselor is a great way to help our Scouts advance, take a look at what merit badges might fit your career or hobbies and help out.
Thanks
Mr. F.
