This week

Super Summer is underway, while many Troops pack up for the summer, Troop 161 keeps the OUTING in scOUTING. Please check the web page event rosters to make sure I got what you turned in right, there were a lot of signups and I need you to double check my work (or understanding of your form). You have not signed up yet? What are you thinking? There is a bunch of FUN stuff going on this summer, you don’t want to miss any of it, be sure to bring (email) the sheet right away. Here are the facts on our first night of Super Summer!

Bike Ride

Time: 5:45 – 8:00

Location: St. Rita’s

Uniform: Class B- Red Shirt

Cost: FREE

Program: Join us for a ride around town. Be sure to bring your bike, a helmet (required) and a water bottle (a really good idea). A treat will be waiting for us when we get back to St. Rita’s. Interested in completing a 2nd Class requirement, here is your opportunity!

Health forms are now officially late, if you have not turned them in yet, be sure to get it done, NOW. As soon as I have a roster of where we are on this, I will publish it in the Event Roster section of the Web Page, double check to make sure you are good.

Troop Calendar on your mobile device

Did you know you can subscribe to the Troop calendar on your phone and computer? Here is how…

Go to the Troop web page, click on “calendar” under the “events” section or go to this Link, you should see a calendar like this, click on the icon in the bottom right corner (that is highlighted) and you will be asked if you want to subscribe to the calendar. Once you subscribe, you will have this added to your calendar.

If you don’t know how to do this, this is a good YouTube video that shows you how. You will see not only the dates, but if you click on them, the details and a map are also included. This is another great way to keep up to date with the Troop events! Let me know if you have used this or just subscribed, would love to know if you find it useful to your family.
