Elections this week

This week will be Troop elections, we have a ballot full of names, but if you forget to turn in the form, we will take them till Sunday night, I would prefer NOT to be getting them on Monday night, moments before the elections. At the present time I have forms with the following names who listed an elected position as the PRIMARY position they are interested in.

Badger-Kyle Koenig

Kodiak- Matt Sisak

Panther- ??

Tiger- Brandon Dobrowski and Jacob Voelz

SPL Daniel Latyshev

As you can tell, we have an opening and very few choices for elections, if you want to be on the ballot, please let me know by Sunday night.

Monday meeting plan

Monday, we will be working on Patrol spirit items like a Patrol Flag, here is your chance to inspire you Patrol flag to represent you and your patrol, think of some cool ideas and let’s see what the patrols come up with. Event Sign up!

Did you sign up for events on Monday night at the Court of Honor? If you didn’t, don’t forget to do so this week. For the corn maze and train ride, this is the only night to sign up, we need to arrange transportation and such for the event, we cannot have any walk-ins.

Who loves scouts?

Do you know anyone who would like to come and join Scouts, this is a great time to recruit them to join. We are currently a little light on membership in the Troop. Something the Troop committee has been watching for some time. We need to get out and encourage others to Join Troop 161. While most scouts join Scouting through Cub Scouts, that is not the only way in to a great program, just invite friend to come to the meeting and check it out, if they like it, they can sign up with no previous scouting experience.
