This Monday

This Monday’s meeting will have you on the ropes. We will learn a lot about how to MAKE rope and much more. You will be tied to the program. Don’t forget that this Monday is the deadline to pay for things like Order of the Arrow, Boy’s Life and adult registration. Be sure to turn that in this week if have not done so already.

Christmas Campout This weekend

Yes, THIS weekend is the Christmas campout, and things are in place for another great campout in Valders, Wisconsin. We will have both indoor and outdoor activities so it will be important that everyone come with the proper clothing for outdoor activities, which will include, hat, gloves and boots. Be sure to make sure your patrol shopper does the food shopping and that you pay them back right away. If you are the shopper, let their patrol know what they owe, so they can pay you (your parents) back on Friday before we even leave on the campout.

Wreath Sales reward

For those who sold over $1000 or more in wreaths (Hanna, Koenig, Latyshev, Lentz, Lindholm, Mallum and Millers) you are invited to the Scoutmaster Dinner Monday January 25th at Infusinos at 5:15 PM to thank you for doing the extra effort to sell wreaths which ultimately supports our Troop. Please let me know if you will be there or not.

High Adventure Night

We will be holding and High Adventure night on January 27th at 7 PM at CBTL. This will be for all those who will be either have completed 7th grade this year or will be 13 by this summer. We will be talking about TWO years of High Adventure, both this summer, and then also next summer’s trip to Philmont. For this summer we are looking at several events options, including options for a trip out east or west, and some more local events. In 2017 we have a space reserved for a Philmont trek, we will need at least 7 people to sign up with a $100 deposit within the next 30 days, we will explain more details about the trip on the 27th. We will also need at least two adults to attend Philmont, so interested parent are needed. Come to the meeting to find out about high adventure opportunities for both 2016 and 2017.
