This Week’s meeting

This week’s meeting, we will be learning about veterans, come and find out more.

Next Weekend

Next weekend we will have our campout, things can change quickly, so be sure you bring clothes for all kinds of weather. Who knows, it might even snow, right now the 10-day forecast looks pretty good for October.

Are you selling?

Popcorn sales are coming to an end this week, and wreaths have a few more weeks, have you been out selling?? Be sure to wrap up those sales and get those customers. Remember, if you were given sheets, we are expecting you to call those people, some of the people on those lists are LONG TIME customers and are waiting for your call.

The weeks ahead

Monday October 17th, we have a scheduled an advancement night, but we also wanted to give people a chance to watch the movie HONOR FLIGHT that talks about the Honor Flight process which we will be part of on November 5th, so this is how we will handle this. We will have Advancement night at CBTL and then will also show the movie Honor flight from 7:00 to about 8:30. Those who want to work on advancement night will work in one room while the rest can watch the movie in the other room. Be sure to sign up for the November event, fact sheet was handed out last Monday, but is also available in the document section of our web page too.

The other question that we discussed at PLC meeting was how will we handle Halloween. We have a meeting scheduled for Monday October 31, but several communities have also scheduled Trick or Treat that night till 7:00 or 7:30 as well. We are wondering what kind of attendance we will have that night, so the question to you is will you attend the Troop meeting on October 31?? It will be Halloween based meeting if we have it, but we want to make sure we will have the attendance to make it worthwhile to plan a meeting. Please reply if you plan to/not to attend the meeting.

I would like to thank all the adults from the Troop who participated in the reLYLEable weekend we held at Oh-Da-Ko-Ta last weekend. You did an outstanding job transforming camp. Watch for pictures of the great things they did!
