HAPPY HALLOWEEN

This Monday is the annual Halloween Troop meeting. NOTE: THIS MEETING WILL START AT 7:30 this week to allow time for those in Caledonia, which have trick or treating from 5 to 7 PM. I will be there at the normal time for those who forget. The meeting will end at its normal 8:30 time. Come dressed in your spooktacular get up, and see if you can fool people on who you are. Best costume wins a prize! Don’t miss out on the other great Halloween activities.

Honor Flight next weekend

November 5th will be the Honor flight. It is important that EVERYONE dress in their best class A uniform they have, including neckerchief. If you can’t find yours, be sure to buy one at the meeting this Monday. To make sure everyone looks uniform, we ask that everyone wear a tan Dockers type pants as well. No blue jeans, shorts, sweats or colors will be accepted. Everyone should have nice shoes as well, preferably a hiking boot/shoes or a dress shoes, not bright colored gym shoes. Those who don’t meet these requirements will not be allowed restricted area of the airport but can be part of the events in the concourse. Since we have been working on getting registered for clearance, any late additions will NOT be allowed in the restricted area. Parents and siblings are welcome to join in the concourse activities, these are open to the public, having personally attended two prior events in the concourse, I would highly suggest participation, it is a very patriotic and moving event. Please remember, ALL SCOUTS are expected to be on their best behavior, TSA, the airport and the Honor Flight take all this very seriously and it is an outstanding thing for our veterans and a privilege to be part of this event

Wreath Sales

We need everyone to bring in their wreath sales sheets in this week so we can get a tally of things, there are a couple items we must order early so we will need those ballpark numbers. The last day to sell is next week, so you can finish up with small details next week, but try to get the bulk of your orders in by Monday. The FALLEN HEROS sheets must be turned in this week, and that will conclude that part of the sale, to get those taken care of in time the orders must be in this Monday. Get out there and let’s get those final sales this weekend!!!! Remember, you get account credit for the stuff you sell, and there are always more scout expenses.

Upcoming Events

We have the fact sheet for the upcoming Wave Soccer game to be held December 3rd in the NEWLY IMPROVED Panther area. There will be a lot of good soccer action you won’t want to miss, be sure to sign up!
