Admirals Game tonight

Meet at St. Rita Saturday at 4:15 in the St. Rita Parking lot. I may have a couple extra tickets, if anyone wants to go, text me (262-930-0424).

Road Trip Monday

This week is a road trip Monday, we will be touring Modine Manufacturing Tech Center. We will meet there at 6:45, you should meet at the guard check-in and he will have a list of those who signed up and will allow you in. There are several rules they asked for me to pass on to make sure you visit is safe.

• Follow the directions to the Modine site via the map included here (note this is used by all visitors, so you can ignore the airport and lodging instructions.)

• Be sure everyone taking the tour has closed toe shoes (no sandals, flip flops…)

• No shorts

• No photos during the tour (group picture can be taken in lobby area)

• Once Security approves you to enter the property, you will be directed to the Tech Center lobby

• Tour will conclude at 8:30ish, putting the scouts in the parking area shortly after. Please be on time to pick up your scout, there will NOT be a PLC to follow the meeting.

• We will expect all scouts to the most respectful to our hosts and listen to all rules imposed during the tour, we are a guest in their business.

Patrol Changes

Next week is elections, still a lot leaders out there who are not running for a position. We are going to do a little Patrol reorganization to better balance the patrols before the influx of Webelos, those announcements will be coming in the next week, please be understanding of them, we want to make sure everyone has an opportunity to lead and we have a good balance of older and younger scouts in each patrol. GREAT news, looks like we will be adding 9-11 scouts to the Troop, that will increase the troop by 30%. We will need all our current scouts to assist helping these new scouts become part of Troop 161 and our older scouts to take a leadership role, even if not elected, in helping them have a great experience. If you want to run, please let me know via email.

Next week, camp fees are due, don’t forget to sign up for camp.

Don’t forget to RSVP for the Annual Dinner and Eagle Court Honor, invites came this week in the mail.
