This Monday…

From King Fish last week to Fishing this week!

Want to hook the big one? Maybe you want to work on the fishing merit badge, or just come for the fun of landing the big one! Please see Ms. Anderson for a blue card at the Court of Honor if you are interested in the merit badge. Not interested in fishing, come to the event, we will have other activities for those who don’t enjoy fishing. How about flying a kite?

Please bring a pole if you have one. If you don’t have a pole, let one of the Assistant Scoutmaster know, if you have an extra pole we can offer those who don’t have one, let the same people know. Bait will be provided. Scouts 16 and older plus any adults will require a fishing license. Licenses for first time buyers may be purchased for $5 from any DNR outlet like Kortendick’s or K-Mart. Not a first time buyer? The Wisconsin DNR web site has full licensing details.

We need some help with adults with fishing licenses to help our scouts, do you have a licenses? Can you help. Let us know if you can help. The troop will provide the bait for all, if anyone has extra poles, bring them along.

Lost and found

I still have a box of lost and found from camp along with some left-over care packages, be sure to check them out and see if any of them are yours. Do you have anything you found and have not turned in yet, please do, a few people are looking for things, maybe you have them. Lets get things back to their right owner.

Upcoming events

Have you signed up for everything you wanted to attend this super summer? We have a few events that you need to sign up for in advance, so don’t be late and get signed up. Next week is the pool party and we are buying pizza, we need to have a head count to order the pizza ahead of time, so be sure to sign up. Helium Park is coming up too.
