This week’s meeting

We will have a presentation about the Army with a special guest who has had some military experience and will share what he has learned from his military and how Scouting play a role in it all.

Upcoming Campout

Don’t forget to get signed up for the Kegonsa State park. The deadline dates didn’t make it to the calendar, so we are going to extend the early payment date till this Monday Oct 1. We are going to have a great campout and for our younger scouts, we will be doing a five mile hike, which many of you have left undone, so this will great time to get this done. For the rest, you wont want to miss out on a great cook off too. Everyone loves food!! Don’t miss this event.

Signup for all events

If you have not done so, be sure get signed up for the rest of the quarter. The troop offers some great trips and outings, you wont want to miss. Remember, you get the most out of scouting when you put something into it. Remember the balloon story from the Court of Honor!

Road Trip Monday

Next Monday October 8th, we will be doing a Road Trip Monday. What is a Road Trip Monday? It is a meeting off site to some establishment to learn more about the community around us. We have been to the Racine Water Plant, Modine Manufacturing, the Sewage plant and few others. October 8th we will be going to the Coast Guard Station in Milwaukee. Meeting time will probably be 6:15 at St. Rita, to car pool to the event. Watch for more details in next week’s BSB, it should be a great tour about what happens on our Great Lake.
