Let's Celebrate a great summer!

This Monday is the Court of Honor to recognize all our scouts for their accomplishments over the summer. You can get your Court of Honor handout HERE. The Password is T161. Be sure to check out the upcoming events and come to Monday night ready to sign up for a fall full of great activities! The meeting starts at 6:30 PM, after that we will return to 7 PM starting September 16th. Scouts should be in Class A uniform.

Elections

The fall means it is also time for elections for the next six months of Troop leadership positions, as part of the Court of Honor Handout is an application for leadership positions, either elected or appointed. If you need either be sure to turn that in by September 16th.

Wreath Sales

We will be kicking off the Wreath sales soon, get ready to sell some wreaths! If you want more customers, please let Mrs. Yonkovich or Mr. Koeing know, we have several scouts who will be aging out this year and we have some customers they have had for years, and the troop has had them even longer, we are willing to give them to anyone who wants to follow up on them. If you get any of these names, you have to commit to make those calls and secure those sales early, there are several people that expect their call from a member of Troop 161. Many are Troop alumni.

Thanks to all

Thanks to all those who helped with summer programs. With a super summer program sometimes we have a lot of need for drivers, leaders and parents to step up and do a little more. Thanks for those who pitched in and helped. Thanks to PLC and Mr. Sisak for putting a list of great programs for the summer. Many Troops have a light schedule for the summer, Troop 161 likes to put the OUTING in SCOUTING and it takes a lot of work. Thanks to all! If you have any ideas for next summer, be sure to let your patrol leader.
