Wreath pick up THIS weekend

THIS weekend will be Wreath pick up We will be picking them up at Miller Park in the morning of Saturday the 23rd. Once we get back we will sort the orders out in my backyard. Once that is done, we will call you when the order is ready. Seeing we will be starting pretty early, your orders should be ready by late morning to mid-day, but as I said, we will call as we finish picking the orders. Never been to my house? I am on the NE corner of Middle Rd and Cardinal Drive (5817 Middle Rd but is no mailbox on Middle Rd). My driveway/mailbox is off Cardinal Drive. I will be the guy with $16,000 worth of wreaths in my yard, hard to miss.

For those who qualified for deliveries, we will also be delivering those sometime late morning to early afternoon, so plan on being home. The way I see it, the following families will get their wreaths delivered. Andersen, Lentz, Molnar, Salchow, Svoren, and Yonkovich for having a combined total of $1000 or more in wreaths. GREAT SALES! Sorry not everyone can be first. The rest will be expected to come and pick them up on Saturday, if you are not going to be home or would like us to call a cell number or would like to make OTHER arrangements, just drop me an email. I will print them out and stick them in your order so those picking orders will have the information.

Make them look good!

Wreaths are packed in bundles from 2-6 per bundle. Be sure when you get your wreaths to open the bundles and check for quality. Before delivery, open up the bows and fluff them up and make the wreath look more presentable. Also, give the wreaths a shake or two to get loose needles out. When they are stacked to the top of semi’s they can collect extra lose needles, especially if they are the ones need the bottom. If temps go below freezing, be careful on the bows, they can freeze if they are a little damp and if you open the bows it may pull off the velvet, be sure to thaw them out before trying to open them. You can do this by taking the bow off and bringing it in the house to warm, and then reattach them afterwards. We always have extra pine cones and decorations, if some fall off, do your best to fix them. If you need extra supplies, there will be a box just inside my garage side door (smile you are on camera).

Please open up bundles and check wreaths right away when you get your order to make sure they all look good, we will be able to exchange bad wreaths till early Friday morning when we can get them replaced by the wreath company. Any time after that point it will be hit or miss, depending on if we have what you need on hand.

Want to sell more wreaths?

WE NEED HELP! We will be manning Store sales at Kortendicks on the Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, We still have MANY Scout/Parent combo spots open, so WE NEED TO FILL THOSE SPOTS! PLEASE HELP!!! If you would like to sign up for those, ask about it when you pick up your wreaths OR contact Mr. or Mrs. O’Connor and get your name on the list. We will NOT be doing Kmart this year.

Show me the money

All money for wreaths will be due on Dec 2 or Dec 9. You don’t have to bring the money till then. If it is possible, please have your parents write a check for all the funds just so we don’t have a lot of cash floating around on collection night.

Monday

Monday is PLC meeting, so no Troop meeting. All PLC members are expected to be there!
