Its Court of Honor time

Well this Monday will be a Court of Honor, it’s hard to believe we have been doing ZOOM meetings for a full quarter, we only had ONE in person Troop Meeting in this quarter and the Court of Honor will also be virtual. We will take this meeting to recognize our scouts for their achievements during the stay at home orders. Please invite your parents to participate. Come one, come all! Check your email for the Troop meeting Zoom info, it will be the same as it has been for the last couple of meetings. See you all there!

Court of Honor Handout

We will have as updated Court of Honor handout, (password is T161) but when it comes to calendar and events, we will be sending those out as time passes because we will play those by ear. We will be starting out with some local distancing type events like fishing biking and things like that. As summer progresses, we hope to go so some more location-based venues like Action Territory, but we will be presenting those as we go, as opposed to putting everything out up front. If nothing else we learned the last few months, it sure is hard to plan anything in advance, all subject to change.

Summer camp

Well it appears I keep writing the same thing every week… “stay tuned”. We will be having a meeting with camp management next week, so we will get the details how camp will be run, we will present that to everyone and let you know and then do a role call vote who would plans to attend. We know there will be some changes to the traditional program and procedures, and we want to be clear with all those so everyone understands what camp will be like this summer if it is open. Currently, Camp Freeland Leslie plans to be open.
