Troop Meeting

Well, we got the basics of morse code, we have come a long way in the field of communications since the days that was a primary way of long-distance communication. Come and see what this meeting will be about.

Summer Camp

Last week was the Early Payment for Summer Camp for those who have been in the Troop, the new Scouts have a later date to pay, but the camp announced this week they will be extending the early payment date so we will extend the early payment till May 3rd. Be sure to get signed up and get ready for camp. Don’t forget to get your med form complete as well. Don’t forget you need to have a med form for week-long camp. It will need a signature from your doctor, so you probably have to have a Doctor's exam, be sure to get that scheduled.

Campout

Don’t forget to get signed up for the spring campout. Here is the fact sheet

New Family Night

We will have a NEW FAMILY NIGHT on April 27th virtually at 7 PM. The Zoom link will be https://us02web.zoom.us/j/216722273. We request that all parents and scouts of the new scouts attend the meeting to find out all about the Troop and how we do things. We always have questions as scouts transition from Cub Scouts to ScoutsBSA (formerly Boy Scouts). If you have questions, feel free to write them down and if we don’t answer them, we will have time to answer them at the conclusion of the meeting. Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, so if you have questions, join us!

Elections

We have not had elections for a while in the Troop because of several distractions, including COVID. We will be holding elections on May 3rd, so if our older scouts want to run, be sure to fill out the form after you read the requirements for the job you want to run or be appointed to. Here is the list of positions and responsibilities. Remember older scouts, your program is YOURS to run, be sure to fill these positions and drive where YOUR TROOP goes. Not happy with the way things are, YOU can be the change!

That should do it for this week, See you Monday night at CBTL. 7-8:30 PM

Thanks

Mr. F
