SPECIAL NOTICE FOR ALL
This is a busy week, we have Court of Honor, wreath money due and we have supplies for the December 14th Troop meeting. So here is how we will do that…
MONDAY DECEMBER 7th
6:30- 8:00 PM, we will run wreath collection at CBTL, we ask that each family come to CBTL to drop off their wreath money, this is important because we do need to pay our bill to the wreath company, so we ask that all wreath money be turned in at this time. If you have not finished distributing yet, please try to do so by this Monday so you can turn in your money. If for some reason you have not finished yet, please turn in what you have. We ask if at all possible, parents can write a check for cash, great, if not, we will take cash.
During this drop-off, we will present you with your kit for the December 14th Troop meeting AND your awards for the Court of Honor. If you do not have wreath money, please come and pick up your other items during this same period.
8:00 PM we will hold our Court of Honor VIRTUALLY for all from CBTL. Any scout who is receiving Rank, Merit Badges, or beads are welcome to come to CBTL near the end of money collection, be presented their awards at 8 PM Court of Honor IN PERSON if they would like (no obligation, just an offer). We ask that ONLY those receiving awards and a parent attend in person to keep the size of the group down to a minimum. The rest can cheer our scouts on virtually on the big screen. Due to the number of awards, the Court of Honor will be short and we ask that families disburse as soon as it is over. You are welcome to say in the virtual meeting as long as you want. Masks will be required for the in-person activities at CBTL!
Any Family that can not turn in their money at this designated time or feels uncomfortable with this arrangement may make arrangements with me (Mr. F) to drop off their money at CBTL and pick up their other items at another time, but you will need to do that by December 14th in order to participate in the Virtual Troop meeting on December 14th. Instructions for the kits will be given out at the virtual meeting on the 14th.
I hope this all works for everyone, we are challenged with providing a scouting program with the rules of not only our community and state, but the Boy Scouts of America and Three Harbors Council. I know some of you may not agree with the rules, we must still follow them.
Anyone who needs to know the balance that is owed for wreaths may contact Peter Koenig or Susan Yonkovich. Don’t forget any add ons you might have picked up.
Thanks! Mr. F.
