This Monday

We need to change up our schedule a little bit, the guest speaker we had scheduled for this week has a family emergency and will not be able to help us this week, so we will be doing the Horse Shoe nail cross. Please don’t start before the meeting. Be sure to come to the meetings with the tools that are in the picture above. The standard pliers and needle nose pliers are interchangeable. During nail bending, I would also suggest a small breadboard or piece of wood. NOT your desk or kitchen table. As with some of our previous projects, it probably is best to be on a solid surface like a desk or table to work on this project. If you did not get supplies at the Rock last week, please make arrangements to get supplies from me. Call or Text me.

Next Troop Meeting

The 25th will be PLC, then on February 1st, we will be doing the lap desks. Most people said they had fabric they could use for this project. You will need a piece of fabric about 24 by 26 or bigger. If you have an old T-shirt or maybe an old pair of pants or other clothing that is too small, that will work too. As long as you can get a square the size mentioned above. Even an old bath towel will work.

Klondike Derby

We ARE going to be attending the Klondike Derby at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta on January 30th. The fact sheet for that event is HERE. Be sure to sign up with the TROOP event sign-up page, that way we have info on who is attending plus we can take your money out of your account. SIGN UP HERE.

Summer Camp

We still don’t know how things will work this summer regarding Covid, but the Troop has reserved July 11-17th 2021 for camp at Camp Freeland Leslie. Please mark your calendars for that week. As with last year, we will discuss it more as we know what restrictions there will be for 2021.
