Two quick notes for this week….
First of all, THIS MONDAY will be an Advancement night at CBTL (436 Four Mile Rd) at 7 PM for anyone who wants to work on advancement. For those less than First Class, come and work on some of those requirements, we will have different people working on different things. For our older Scouts, either come and help with the younger scouts or plan to work with a Merit Badge Counselor on your advancement. Either way, the meeting is optional but encouraged for those under First Class, it’s a great time to get some of those earlier ranks done. Any parents who want to help with some of the requirements, please stick around and help.
Campout this weekend!
This weekend is the Annual Christmas/winter Campout, or should we say CampIN. We will be staying in a heated cabin, like a bunkhouse with a kitchen. The two patrols have combined cooking duties for this weekend and food is being purchased for all. Cooking gear provided by Troop, you need to bring your mess kit including silverware and water bottle. You should bring some gear for inside activities, and outdoor activities. We will have games and fun and have an auction of gifts Saturday night with points earned during the day. Be sure to come ready for a lot of fun. The roster of those we are planning on is HERE. If something has changed since you signed up, be sure to let us know. PLEASE, any signs of illness, please stay home, we are still fighting the COVID virus and for some who have some outlaying conditions it could make this much worse than you, so please keep them in mind. The Council still has some pretty strict COVID rules that we must follow, so be aware of those by reading them. You can read them all HERE. Please fill out the health assessment AND the waiver. BOTH must be turned in to camp as we arrive. If anyone has signs within 5 days of the campout, please let us know as well. Be sure to check out the link above for all upcoming events to make sure your name is on the events you want to attend. See you at 5:15 in your Class A uniform, don’t forget your boots for outside fun!
Thanks
Mr. F.
