Home Sweet Home

I hope everyone had a great time at camp, weather was good and the scouts did a great job working together on daily tasks like cooking and cleaning. We also got a lot of advancement done. Our first years got a lot of progress for all ranks up to first class. I would like to thank all the adults who attended this summer and made it a successful trip. Not only for the work AT camp but also the work leading up to and after camp. Anyone who had incomplete merit badges, you can get a blue card from Mrs. Andersen with the missing items and help you find a counselor locally that can help you get that merit badge completed. I would love to hear how camp went for you or your son while at camp both good and not so good. As we have mentioned, Camp Freeland Leslie will be closing after this season and we will be looking for a new camp to attend in 2022. The question we have for everyone is what the important things are to look at when looking at a new camp. We have a list started of important things but welcome you input on that as well.

Join us for a ride around town. Be sure to bring your bike, a helmet (required) and a water bottle (a really good idea). A treat will be waiting for us when we get back to St. Rita’s. Interested in completing a 2nd Class requirement, here is your opportunity! Please make sure you bike is in good working condition for the ride
