Greetings Troop 161

First thing is that WE NEED YOUR RSVP for the Annual Dinner (yes or no). Right now only a handful of Troop members have RSVP’ed for the dinner and Eagle Court of Honor for Dalton Yonkovich on March 19th Please do so right now by clicking on THIS LINK and letting us know your name and number attending. We are in the final planning stages and need a headcount to order food it is pretty important to ensure we have enough food. Thanks to all those who have RSVP’ed already, your timely response is appreciated.

We will also need some help on the day of the event, set-up will begin at 1PM, we also need some helpers during the dinner. If you would like to be part of the ceremony we can use your help there as well.

Regular Court of Honor This Monday

This Monday will be the regular Court of Honor, we expect each scout and at least one parent to attend, we do not have a lot of advancement this quarter so it should be quick, please plan on attending. Masks

Seeing Unified has dropped the mask mandate, we will do the same. It does not make sense to mask up if they are spending all day together without masks. While the threat of COVID still exists we welcome all those who would like to continue to wear masks to do so. We do ask if you have ANY symptoms to please excuse yourself from activities. We still have members of the Troop that are either in the high-risk category or have people in their family circle who are, so please be considerate of those people.

Scouting for Food

The weekends of March 12 and 19th are Scouting for food weekends. On the 12th we will be dropping off door hangers on doors of houses on the northside of Racine, then on the 19th, we will be collecting the food that is hanging on the doors. Please plan on attending at least ONE of the weekends but we could use everyone for both weekends. We will be doing the drive with Pack 161. We will meet at St. Rita at 9 AM on both days.

Sport Show

The Milwaukee Sports is offering anyone who arrives on March 10th to the Sport Show in Scout Uniform, a free entry ticket to the show. We are not going as a Troop unless there is a bunch of interest, but if your want to go, no reason not to grab your uniform and go.
