Which wreath would you want to get? Be sure to make your wreaths look presentable!

Mondays meeting!

This Monday we are going to work on the skill of planning. Come to the meeting on Monday with the ideal tropo meeting idea, and we will be talking about what goes into planning our weekly meetings.

Wreath pick up THIS weekend

THIS weekend will be Wreath pick up We will be picking them up at State Fair Saturday morning. Once we get back, we will sort the orders out in my backyard. Once that is done, we will call you when the order is ready. Your orders should be ready by late morning to mid-day, but as I said, we will call as we finish picking up the orders. Never been to my house? I am on the NE corner of Middle Rd and Cardinal Drive (5817 Middle Rd but there is no mailbox on Middle Rd). My driveway/mailbox is off Cardinal Drive.

For those who are qualified to have wreaths delivered to their house, we will be delivering those sometime late morning to early afternoon, so plan on being home unless you have made previous arrangements. GREAT SALES! Sorry not everyone can be first. The rest will be expected to come and pick them up on Saturday, if you are not going to be home or would like us to call a cell number or would like to make OTHER arrangements, just drop me an email. I will print them out and stick them in your order so those picking orders will have the information.

Make them look good!

Wreaths are packed in bundles from 2-6 per bundle. Be sure when you get your wreaths to open the bundles and check for quality. Before delivery, open up the bows and fluff them up and make the wreath look more presentable. Also, give the wreaths a shake or two to get loose needles out. When they are stacked to the top of the semi they can collect extra loose needles, especially if they are the ones near the bottom. If temps go below freezing, be careful on the bows, they can freeze if they are a little damp and if you open the bows it may pull off the velvet, be sure to thaw them out before trying to open them. You can do this by taking the bow off and bringing it in the house to warm, and then reattaching them afterward. We always have extra pine cones and decorations, if some fall off, do your best to fix them. If you need extra supplies, there will be a box just inside my garage side door (smile you are on camera).

Bad wreaths happen, We will be able to exchange bad wreaths till early Friday morning when we can get them replaced by the wreath company. Seeing we are not selling at the stores this year, we will not have any extras available, so PLEASE check them BEFORE Friday. We will get them replaced, after Friday, that is not much of an option.

Money Collection

Don’t forget to have checks made out to Troop 161, we will be collecting the money on December 4th and 11th.
