Wreath Sales

Hope everyone has their wreaths all delivered and people are decorating for the holidays with them. Been a lot of posts of people decorating for the holidays on this traditional decoration weekend. Money collection is scheduled for December 6th and 13th, but if you can not wait to turn it in, bring it this Monday but I ask that it be CHECK only because I am going to ask you to turn it into the incoming envelope like any other payment. See the wreath packet for details on what needs to be turned in.

Ongoing customers

We have a group of ongoing customers, some of these customers have been on the list for 20 to 30 years. This year I had a record number of these customers call me or someone in the troop after the sale saying they did not get a call for a wreath and in some cases we could not get them wreaths. That is why it is super important that when given lists, you make sure you give them a call. There is a growing list of why these people did not get contacted and we are going to evaluate ways to improve that. It might be they never got called, they dropped a landline, were an unidentified caller and the customer never took the call. We want to do our best to update that customer list and see what we can do to improve future sales. I had late calls for almost $500 worth of wreaths, so you can see, there are some good sales out there that are being missed. Please provide a list of YOUR customers, especially if you got any from the Troop so we can confirm who is still active leads and what ones need to be refreshed, if you got updated info on them, that will help too. We will make a copy and give the sheets back to you. Feel free to make a copy for yourself if you would like. I can't tell you how often I and others have been embarrassed to hear a long-time customer was inadvertently dropped from our sales list and revenue was lost. We are looking at adding this as an option for people to order in 2022. NO ORDERS WILL BE PLACED for this year off this list. All sales are closed for 2021.

Thanks to Peter Koenig and Susan Yonkovich for all their work on making 2021 wreath sale profitable. Also thanks to Jennifer Miller for heading up the popcorn sale again this year. Lastly, thanks to all the scouts who got out and sold products this year. The revenue from these sales not only gives scouts CREDIT for scouting activity, but it also generates income to cover all the cost of scouting at the troop level like awards, equipment, Christmas party, annual dinner and so much more.

Court of Honor next week

Next week is the Court of Honor, parents should attend. This is the last Monday to turn in awards to be recognized next week.
