This Monday

Welcome to fall, it seems even with a pandemic, the seasons still change and life goes on. This Monday we will be working on Movie Making ideas. Come with your ideas to make a short film. This will be a three part plan spanning the next couple of weeks. The first week will be planning your short video out, then in the coming weeks, we will be working on other aspects of the process.

Fall Activity

It’s a spooky time in more ways than one. No, I am not talking about the presidential debate, I am talking about our upcoming trip to Camp OhDaKoTa to participate in the Haunted Walk. The PLC wanted to give that another try seeing it was so much fun last year, due to COVID they have changed it to a walk vs a hayride, but the haunting will be the same. The weekend for that is October 23-25, 2020. We will be haunting both Friday and Saturday night. Click here for the fact and sign up sheet. Also available in the document section or on the Google calendar. Let’s come out and show them a haunting good time. COVID precautions will be in place for the weekend, temp checks, masks, and social distancing. Safety will remain to be a priority.

Recharter Time

Recharter time is coming up early this year, typically it has been in February, but it has been moved up to December this year. As we announced last year, the price was going up pretty substantially this year, watch next week for the pricing on that, but as in the past, we will be taking it out of Scout Accounts, this year sometime in December.

Wreath Sales

Are you out selling? NOW is the time to do it, no excuses. Give your customers a call if you can, to avoid personal contact, if not, feel free to go door to door with COVID protection in mind. It’s a great way to cover your scouting expenses by earning CREDIT. For instance, to cover your recharter fees, you need to sell about $300 worth of wreaths, camp is more. Keep selling wreaths, if you have questions or need more order forms, contact Mrs. Yonkovich or Mr. Koenig.

Stay Safe and Healthy

Mr. F.
