Let’s Celebrate!

Let's celebrate a summer worth of activities and achievements. This Monday we will be having our Court of Honor to recognize all our scouts and our accomplishments and awards they earned this summer at camp and more. Wreath Sales are coming!

Hard to believe that the wreath sales will be kicking off shortly, start thinking about who you want to sell wreaths to, how can you improve your sales so you can earn more credit for your scout activities. if you are not going to be selling this year, please let us know, we will find someone to see your list from last year if you have one. Want more sales, check and see if we have any lists of names to give.

Summer has been a busy time and we have a lot of things going on, I would like to thank all those who helped make the events happen. From driving to providing leadership to giving up vacation time for our events. A special thanks to Mr. Jerry Sisak for making all the arrangements for our weekly events. Got more idea for next summer or the year-round program of the Troop, be sure to let your Patrol Leader know and have them bring your ideas to the PLC meeting where we plan the upcoming events!

I would also like to thank Pete Koenig who has served as the Troop Committee Chairman for many years. Peter leaves a legacy of great things that the troop has done under his leadership as chairman. Taking up the reigns as Chairman will be Mr. Dave Lyons. Congratulations to Dave on his new role with the Troop and we look forward to many more great things under his leadership as well. We are always looking for more help with the troop operations, we have a bunch of small jobs that make the daily task of running the troop much smoother, if you can help out, please let Dave or I know and we would be glad to get you connected to a way you can help.
