Court of Honor this week!

We will be having our Court of Honor this week, seeing we have not done much like a campout this summer, we thought we would do our Court of Honor outside around the campfire. Chui Muro has offered up his back yard for the event around his campfire ring, so we will meet at his house at 6:30 PM at 7 Sandalwood Ct. (off Main Street between Three and Four mile Rd) If you can't find the place, contact Mr. Muro at 414-678-9259 Please bring a lawn chair and some sticks for roasting marshmallows after the Court of Honor is over. Don’t forget your mask too! Watch the weather, but a light jacket might also be needed. Come one, come all to recognize all the advancement our scouts have achieved over the last three months, even if you are not getting anything, cheer on your friends. Scouts and at least one parent are expected to attend. The Court of Honor portion should be over by 7:30, fellowship to follow.

Fall Events

We are going to discuss some options and get a feel from everyone how they feel about doing in-person events this fall. Not only for Troop meetings but also for activities. We have been doing fine through the summer but as the weather cools off and we move back indoors, it is something we want to discuss. We are also waiting to see what the rules are for the use of the Church and also what the Three Harbors Council is recommending regarding in-person events. As far as the Court of Honor Handout, we will publish that after we have an idea what people want to do for activities, so don’t look for a handout this week, watch future BSB’s for that info. Until then, the June Court of Honor handout still has contact info and that has not changed since June.

Wreath Sales

We will be holding our wreath sale this year but we will NOT be selling at the stores as we have done in the past. Seeing many people contact their customers via phone, we figure that delivery is the only contract with others, and Scouts should wear a mask. If you are going door to door to sell, be sure to wear a mask then as well. We will be kicking off the sale at the Court of Honor so be sure to come to the Court of Honor to get all the info on the wreath sales.
