This Monday

Who is ready for a good hike at Devils Lake? After Monday’s meeting, we all will. This Monday we will be covering hiking basics, and Map and Compass skills. Sign up for our hike next Saturday (Sept 24th) at Devil’s Lake.

Correction

We planned on the Haunted Hay Ride for Oct 21-23, but we have been asked if we could do it the following weekend because they are short of help on Oct 28-30. We are going to move the campout to the following weekend to help them out, please note that on your calendar and are aware of that before signing up. Start thinking of great ways to haunt the visitors, we will be planning that at a future meeting.

Fall Fundraisers are off and running

We have Wreaths and popcorn underway. We all earn more credit by selling Wreaths so if you are only going to pick one, we would like to suggest wreaths. You are welcome to sell both. If you did not get the supplies on Monday, contact Peter Koenig or Dave Lyon for sales sheets.

Event Signups

Over the past summer, we had a lot of walk-in signups for events. We did OK covering that but late signups cost us extra money. We often can get discounts if we know we have a certain number of people, when we don’t have the numbers in advance, we have to pay the going rate. On several of our events, we missed out on some great discounts. Please sign up early, so we can make sure we get the discounts and we can plan on driving and supervision as well.
